When & Where is Pride?

Is there a Cost?

Pride in the Park is FREE and open to the public!

Food Trucks, Merch, and  Vendors will be present for sale.

Are pets allowed at Pride in the Park?

Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. 

​

Enter your pet into the Animal Fashion Show at 2 pm, to win a  $100 gift card to Fiestas in Edwards.

Where to Park?

Please consider carpooling or other modes of transportation, such as walking, bike riding, and public transportation. Be aware of signs.

If you plan on driving to the event, we suggest attendees utilize these various parking options:

  1. Avon Town Hall

  2. On-street parking on W. Benchmark Road and Lake Street

  3. Harry A. Nottingham Park ( Beach Parking) 

  4. Avon Elementary School

  5. US Bank Parking Lot

  6. Bear Lot/ Elk Lot at Beaver Creek Resorts

What to Bring?

  • Sunscreen

  • Remember your reusable water bottle – Plastic-Free Event! Water stations will be available. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

  • Bring your own lawn chair, blanket, shade tents, etc. 

  • Cash for tipping

To donate in support of Mountain Pride and vital services for Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community throughout the year, visit here to donate. You can make a donation to support our work or contact us to find out other ways to get involved.

Will credit cards be accepted?

Cash and credit will be accepted by all vendors

Smoking

  1. ​This is a smoke-free event. All cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vape pens are prohibited.

  2. Colorado State law states a person over 21 years of age and over can possess an ounce of marijuana and it is illegal to smoke it in public.

Alcohol

Mountain Pride will not be selling alcohol, but the Avon Town Council approved open containers and public consumption of alcohol (aka BYOB) at Harry A. Nottingham Park and in Avon's Pocket Parks between 11:30 a.m. and until 30 minutes after dusk. Glass and Glass Bottles are not permitted.

What is Mountain Pride Doing for Safety?

Mountain Pride is working with the Avon Police Department, a private security company, and the Town of Avon for the safety of all event attendees and vendors. Our goal is to ensure a safe and welcome space for all!
